It is said that this princess' father did not allow her to marry an Englishman and because of this refusal, her spirit is extremely angry and frustrated.

Orbs, visual phenomena, apparitions and a sense of presence are experienced here. The tennis courts allegedly sit on an unmarked burial site for seven Confederate soldiers. Brafferton Inn

A Nicholas Codori purchased the property in 1843 and converted the land into a large farm. During the Civil War, this farm was in the middle of the battlefield area where the Confederate assault, known as "Pickett's Charge" occurred. Codori's house was converted into a Catholic chapel, full of wounded soldiers. Later, in 2005, the Hodges family purchased this home and renovated it into an inn. The sounds of battle, soldiers shuffling, visual phenomena, orbs and a sense of presence are experienced here.

Cemetery Hill
Many casualties of the Battle of Gettysburg were left to die in the streets. While it was mid-summer, the bodies were mostly decomposed by the time they were eventually buried. Visitors have experienced "phantom smells" of rotting flesh and most interestingly, peppermint. The ladies of Gettysburg used to press scented handkerchiefs to their mouths to avoid the stench of death. This could explain the smell of peppermint and even vanilla.

Formerly part of the John Forney Farm, this site is located on a parcel of land that saw much battle during the first days into the Battle of Gettysburg. Union troops had an encampment here, on Oak Ridge, and fended off multiple Confederate attacks, taking on heavy causalities. Many guests sense a presence or hear unusual sounds while staying here. It is documented that a Union Brigadier General, Gabriel Paul, fought and lost his eyesight during one of the more intense battles. He is known to wander aimlessly throughout this building; however, most activity is experienced in, the Paul Room (attic).

Sach's Covered Bridge

Recently reinforced with steel beams after being swept off its foundations in a flood, this one-hundred foot long bridge still spans Marsh Creek. By 1880 it was a prosperous village and the main stopping place for trades between the two cities. In addition to accounts of its founder, Manasseh Miller, haunting this establishment, a man in his early forties haunts a bedroom on the top floor. People said they have seen him laying on the bed and sitting on the couch. He apparently died in a car accident behind this inn.

The Devil's Half Acre

Union cannon fire and drums are sometimes heard in the distance. Rumor has it that photographic equipment does not work or malfunctions in this location.
