	This 19th century hotel has a disturbing history. Two children were killed in the attic and a later explosion killed many patrons. 	An Indian princess supposedly haunts this site. She was killed during a strong electrical storm and her remains were never located. According to popular legend, a burnt mark on the rock belongs to this woman. Walking past this rock elicits the smells of herbs, a feeling of suffocation, cold icy hands gripping the neck and even scratches or bruises. It is said that this princess' father did not allow her to marry an Englishman and because of this refusal, her spirit is extremely angry and frustrated.

Bake Oven Knob
	Located on the Kittatinny Ridge in the Appalachian Mountains, this rocky peak on the side of a mountain harbors strange activity. A hiker did fall to his death and that is the spirit that presumely haunts this site.

Baladerry Inn
Most Recent Investigation	Baladerry Inn was constructed in 1812, on the Bushman Farm. During the Civil War, it briefly served as an Army of the Potomac field hospital. This quiet, country bed and breakfast rests on the edge of the battlefield and is within walking distance to Little Round Top. Paranormal activity here is substantial. Orbs, visual phenomena, apparitions and a sense of presence are experienced here. The tennis courts allegedly sit on an unmarked burial site for seven Confederate soldiers. Prior investigations have revealed photographic evidence of two Confederate soldiers looking in through a window.

Most Recent Investigation	This is an original 1809 Civil War farmhouse from the South Cavalry Battlefield. Artillery, cavalry and infantry all fought on these grounds. Located on business 15 just south of Gettysburg Nat'l Park, this farmhouse has excellent access to historic grounds.

Black Bass Hotel
	Built as a fortified haven for river travelers in the 1740's. It is over 200 years old. Several guests of this historic inn could be considered, long-term tenants. Guests have witnessed a woman in white walking the halls and sometimes sitting in a guestroom with a pearl-handled revolved in her lap. Another resident, Old Hans, was stabbed to death in a tavern brawl. His spirit is known to wander and a pool of blood periodically appears on the tavern floor as a reminder to all of his death.

Brafferton Inn
	This old Victorian home is located at the Philadelphia-Pittsburgh / Baltimore-Shippensburg crossroad(s) and within walking distance to historic battlefields. A Nicholas Codori purchased the property in 1843 and converted the land into a large farm. During the Civil War, this farm was in the middle of the battlefield area where the Confederate assault, known as "Pickett's Charge" occurred. Codori's house was converted into a Catholic chapel, full of wounded soldiers. Later, in 2005, the Hodges family purchased this home and renovated it into an inn. The sounds of battle, soldiers shuffling, visual phenomena, orbs and a sense of presence are experienced here.

Brickhouse Inn
	This inn is located in the downtown historic district of Gettysburg. It was established in 1898 as an addition to the adjoining Welty House (circa 1830s). Several battlefields surround the inn's grounds, making it an easy walk to step into history. Local ghost tours run from across the street and frequent this location. Sounds of distant battles, muted cries and a heavy sense of presence are experienced in various rooms of this bed and breakfast.

Broad Top Cemetery
	A statue on Mockingbird Hill occasionally "yodels" and shimmers an eerie glow. Also, a small ghost dog is sighted that roams the surrounding woods.

	In the lower parts of Camp Hill High School, there is a small door that was part of the original foundations. Usually, this door remains locked for safety reasons. Beyond this door is a forgotten children's cemetery. People have witnessed apparitions, heard footsteps and voices.

Carbon County Jail
	This old prison was closed in 1995. Many unexplained events have occurred since then. A handprint appears/disappears in the cell of a former Molly Maguire’s member. One gang member made an impression of his hand on the cell wall. He proclaimed that his handprint would remain there as proof of his innocence. He was later hung, the handprint washed off but returned after three days. Whatever renovations were made to the cell wall, the handprint remains.

	A student named, Wanda, committed suicide in a stairway and now her spirit roams Butz Hall. Many students complain about being locked out of their rooms, alarm clocks go haywire, objects move across rooms and strange noises are heard throughout this hall.

Cemetery Hill
	Many casualties of the Battle of Gettysburg were left to die in the streets. While it was mid-summer, the bodies were mostly decomposed by the time they were eventually buried. Visitors have experienced "phantom smells" of rotting flesh and most interestingly, peppermint. The ladies of Gettysburg used to press scented handkerchiefs to their mouths to avoid the stench of death. This could explain the smell of peppermint and even vanilla.

Central Pattee Library - Penn State University
	This library is considered the most haunted site in the State College area. A student employee named Betsy was murdered here in the late sixties. People hear unexplainable screaming, witness apparitions reading books with floating red eyes and book carts are pushed.

Century Inn
	This is the oldest inn along Route 40 and considered a historical bed and breakfast with plenty of activity. Doubleday Inn
Most Recent Investigation	Located right past Gettysburg College, this historic inn sits inside Gettysburg National Park. Formerly part of the John Forney Farm, this site is located on a parcel of land that saw much battle during the first days into the Battle of Gettysburg. Union troops had an encampment here, on Oak Ridge, and fended off multiple Confederate attacks, taking on heavy causalities. Many guests sense a presence or hear unusual sounds while staying here. It is documented that a Union Brigadier General, Gabriel Paul, fought and lost his eyesight during one of the more intense battles. He is known to wander aimlessly throughout this building; however, most activity is experienced in, the Paul Room (attic).

Local ghost hunters have researched this location and felt the presence of a little girl and an inhuman force heading down the stairs. 	Considered extremely haunted, psychics, ghost hunters and television specials have focused on this location. Numerous apparitions are sighted here on a regular basis. A ghostly, sobbing man carrying a young child in a blanket is sometimes seen walking both inside the house and around the grounds. Yet another spirit is that of a midwife who watches over a young woman enduring the pains of labor. Additionally, Confederate soldiers patrol the exterior grounds. Fayette County Courthouse
	This courthouse is located off the National Rd, otherwise known as US 40. Allegedly, many innocent people were hanged in this building. One such individual was hanged five minutes early and his curse supposedly causes the clocks to always show the time, five minutes early. Repeated attempts to fix this problem have failed.

Fonthill Mansion
	Henry Mercer (1856-1930) built Fonthill as his home.The mansion has 44 rooms, 18 fireplaces and more than 200 windows of varying size and shape. The interior walls, floors and ceilings are covered with Mercer's original handcrafted tiles. The mansion was recently featured on A&E's "America's Castles." One housekeeper apparently enjoyed her job so much that she is still doing it, from beyond the grave! She is seen dusting in the parlor and making beds upstairs.

	In 1754, the opening battle fought between England and France for country of North America occurred here. Reenactors and vistors have seen phantom soliders and distant cannonfire.

Fort Roberdeau
	The original Fort Roberdeau was constructed in 1778 under the direction of General Daniel Roberdeau, one of Pennsylvania's representatives to the Second Continental Congress. On the left side of the corn field is where two orbs can be seen, light and dark. These orbs are supposed to be children running in the field. In addition to this nurse, many guests see wounded soldiers walk the hallways, hear footsteps/voices and smell unusual decaying odors.

Sach's Covered Bridge
	The Confederate Army once used this old bridge in it's retreat to Virginia, after the Battle of Gettysburg in July 1863. Recently reinforced with steel beams after being swept off its foundations in a flood, this one-hundred foot long bridge still spans Marsh Creek. It is believed that Union forces caught three confederate soldiers, who deserted their detail, and hung them from this bridge. Visitors experience cold spots and get ectoplasm/orbs in their photos.

	Stories of an apparition of a monk have circulated and sometimes documented since the 19th century. Tannersville Inn
	In the 1800's Tannersville was located on the main droving road between Scranton and Easton. By 1880 it was a prosperous village and the main stopping place for trades between the two cities. For over thirty six years, this old hostelry, a former stagecoach stop, has provided a community amenity in Tannersville. In addition to accounts of its founder, Manasseh Miller, haunting this establishment, a man in his early forties haunts a bedroom on the top floor. People said they have seen him laying on the bed and sitting on the couch. He apparently died in a car accident behind this inn.

Temperance House
	In 1772, soldier and scholar Andrew McMinn, opened this tavern to the public. It later became lodging for one union general Francis Murray during the Revolutionary War era. In the 1840's, the Bucks County Temperance Society took over this establishment. It continued to change hands and recently was refurbished. Guests claim to have witnessed childlike apparitions, doors slamming on their own, window shades sliding up and traveling footsteps throughout the entire building.

The Devil's Half Acre
	An 1800's tavern is found on the grounds and from there springs the local ghost legends. The owner decided to just bury these individuals in the backyard to avoid the authorities. Visitors can experience uneasy feelings, accompanied with fleeting images of shadows and other visual phenomena.

	This field is located above another highly active site, Devil's Den. Apparitions of Confederate sharpshooters are witnessed around the rocks at the bottom of this field. Union cannon fire and drums are sometimes heard in the distance. Rumor has it that photographic equipment does not work or malfunctions in this location.
