Founded September 2007, Main Line Paranormal Investigators (MLPI) welcomes those with an inclination or curiosity in the paranormal to share in our unbiased research. Our location, along the main-line, grants us excellent access to Philadelphia's Historic District, Valley Forge National Historical Park, Gettysburg National Military Park and other areas of notable significance. We welcome new members and their ideas with a skeptical but open viewpoint. We only require our members approach every investigation with a serious and professional attitude. Although a relatively young investigative team, our commitment to paranormal research is readily apparent to new members and clients.

As our primary mission, we intend to validate or discredit alleged paranormal activity and determine the underlying stimuli or causes. Techniques utilized are dependent on accessibility, activity and frequency of incidence. We urge our members to employ logic, not assumption, when establishing the subsistence of the paranormal. While main-stream science considers paranormal studies, pseudo-science, we still utilize scientific instrumentation, methodologies and empirical documentation to characterize a paranormal event. Personal experiences are compelling stories until proven otherwise. Through this exploratory process, we hope to uncover the truth behind these mysterious phenomena and provide indisputable confirmation of the phenomenon known as, a haunting.
